The Christmas Oratorio was premiered in Hallgrímskirkja on the second of December 2012, by Schola cantorum chamber choir, Caput ensemble, Björn Steinar Sólbergsson, organ, Kirstin Erna Blöndal, soprano, Jóhann Smári Sævarsson, bass, conducted by Hörður Áskelsson.
